Some may think that it is the ultimate in ego massage to want to produce a video for my cd. Think what you will, but if I had my dithers I'd let the music stand on it's own. No promotion, no pictures etc.

But that would be commercial suicide in a world saturated with music videos for skittles and the like.

So I've decided to take the plunge and work up something. This video most likely won't see the light of day on MTV or more appropriately, VH1 , but there are many venues available thanks to the web for at least some exposure. Google, You Tube, Yahoo Video etc.

So here we go.

Most "signed" performers that are releasing a cd have a team that pre-plans everything and the artist just kind of comes and stands where they want. In my own way that will be happening here today as well with Todd Geer,  Jack Gastelanto, Nancy Fingerhood  and the team will be here to begin production on what hopefully will be a promotional tool.

They'll be blacking out windows, cleaning me up, moving furniture etc. Here's some of the instructions:

Scene one is you with the fireplace as a background.  We'll go through the song once with two cameras, then again with Alan and/or handheld moving shots.
