All right the chronicles of creating my first music CD continue.Well I must say I'm making progress on that ever elusive CD.

Let me give this some perspective. I have played in front of thousands of people. Arenas, civic centers, coffee shops and small and large bars. I've been fortunate enough to be a warm up act for some well know artists. I won't drop names (Chicago), Bruce Springsteen (before we knew him) and Mike Quatro (know him? You're over 40!)

OK so I did drop a name or two. Nonetheless, it is ridiculous that I've written so many songs, have recorded in studios multiple times, performed on so many stages, own a home studio, have an on line audio business and still have NOT produced a CD that people could buy or con a complimentary copy :)

Sooooo...Here's a progress update:
* I have yet another NEW website. MichaelStoneMusic.com. It's still under construction, but will be fully functional soon. Now I'm committed.
* Add that to my MySpace, Tagworld,SongRamp,SOngPlanet and SoundClick and I'm fairly well represented on the web as an artist.
* There will be MANY more to follow, including an e-commerce site in the next months.All tied together of course.
* I am feverishly studying the manuals to my studio equipment. I have some incredible tools, but the technology is very difficult to master. Being the writer, performer, producer all in one is a daunting challenge.
* I am practicing, practicing, practicing, practicing and writing, writing, writing.
