PASSION

What's your passion? Unbelievably to me, I've only recently rediscovered mine.

 I was mulling this one over in my mind the other day.

Here's the curcumstances.

I was driving along when I realized that all that has been consuming my thoughts lately is my music. My creations. My melodies, my lyrics and compositions that I have personally birthed. There was a day in my youth when that was the norm. But somewhere along the way life intervened and circumstances were altered. Marriage, divorce(s), kid, etcetera.

 No mas! No longer will I allow the everyday concatenation of events (I have a thesaurus), to divert me from my true calling. I've always known that I was meant to write and sing music. It's in my blood. But somehow, I allowed myself to stray from this avocation.

If ever I wanted to feel the wild pulse of youthful blood in my veins, then this is the path I should have been traveling for a long time.

Never can I begin to explain the lightening bolt of energy that has encompassed my being since I re-invigorated my drive to pursue this passion of mine. I write, in my mind, on the plane, in the car, while walking, while dreaming (yep true) and anywhere, anytime I can. That is passion! All one has to do is venture into the lyrics and singing to hopefully hear and understand this one truth.

I wish upon you a similar passion. The personal benefits are as satisfying as anything one can experience.
