If you're going to do it. Do it right! I'm sure my Dad said that to me over the years. I, have of course heard it many times.

So after thinking I could shortcut it when it came to production of my CD
, I had a "come to Jesus" moment. I realized that no matter how talented I think I am, I need help. Especially, if I want to do it right!

So, after one mediocre outing to record my music, I completely re-evaluated how I was approaching this project.

I've always believed I was a strong singer and songwriter and an "OK" guitarist, piano player. This is a reality. I needed to face up to that fact when it came to recording my music.

So, I suck it up and bring in an incredible keyboardist, midi composer/musician to help me assemle all of the parts. We then in turn, set up sessions with other professional studio musicians to bring this project off with the absolute BEST results.

Do it right, or don't do it at all!

So now we have the musicians and now the studio times  is booke. Sept 1th, 20th and 26th in two different studio, depending on whether it is instrumentation or vocals.

My goal? To complete this, and be proud of it. I don't ever want to be saying, "yeah it could have been better if......" Nope. Get it done. Get it done RIGHT!

It's costing me more than I had hoped, but better to spend your money on a passion than on frivolous things. 

So the process is well under way and now pray that I can live up to my own expectations. You never know, this may be the seminal release of a decade or it could roll off into oblivion unnoticed. But it will be done.

And done right!

A worthy accomplishment in my book!
